I’m a conceptual artist and designer from Uxbridge, MA who is passionate about textile design, soft sculpture, and creative writing.  I recently earned my BFA in Fashion Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and I’m excited to be using my education to run Pink ‘nd Rowdy, an ethical small-batch fashion and collectibles brand.

 

Research and captivation kickstarts the majority of my design process.  I quickly become obsessed with the way certain ideas and images play together to transcend our typical modes of communication, and I’ll pursue that thread of connection until it assembles itself into meaning. 

 

For this reason, themes of religion, morality, fantasy, and horror have become the core of my practice.  The messages are gentled by elements of humor, or paired with an ethereal color palette to give the viewer space to safely explore the ideas I’m presenting.  Whether through poems, drawings, or garments, I create work to provoke questions about humanity and deepen inner reflections.
